John 1: 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
We all love the message of grace, after all, where would we be without His grace? But have we forgotten to read the whole Scripture in John 1? It says: we beheld (looked upon, gazed into) His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace AND TRUTH. Did we miss the word “truth”?
We must understand: God is the God of grace, but He has boundaries of TRUTH. HE, God Himself, is bound by His own truth, and we find the truth He is bound by in His Word, for His Word IS truth. If we expect to operate in the fulness of His grace, we must also submit to the boundaries of His truth.
We are a society who have become inundated with “twisted” truth, and because we hear, see, talk about, sing about, and are entertained by “twisted truth,” we think that God has adopted the same philosophy. He has not!
God is looking for a “body” who will, once again, bow before Him and ask for His guidance as we get into His Word. It is only in His Word that we receive direction and help in our time of need. (Psalm 46:1) He is a mighty strong tower to all who will run into Him. (Proverbs 18:10) He is grace to help in time of trouble and His grace is sufficient. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
All of these promises and blessings and many, many more are ours. Because of His grace, we can enter into His throne room, BOLDLY, (Hebrews 4:16) but once we enter into His presence, how will we communicate with Him? God only communicates through His Word. Not through quoted Scriptures, unless the Scriptures you quote have become a work in you. How does the Word become a work? When we honor the boundaries of His truth!
If you are frustrated today and feel as if God is not listening or feel as if God is punishing you for “not” doing something, STOP, take a deep breath and repent for frustrating HIS GRACE and TRUTH. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you walked outside of the boundaries by which you are KEPT BY GOD’S GRACE. In ONE STEP, you can rest in His finished work! He only desires your honesty and submission to “HIS way and not your own!” (Galatians 2:21)
You are one step away from total peace in your situation, your decision, your family, on your job, and/or in your life! Take a deep breath and “breathe in” the presence and grace of God. He is waiting for you! You are not waiting for Him!
I pray a total deliverance for you and your house today. I ask Father God You might open the windows of Your grace over your children and show them Your truth in all they seek. I believe, by faith, that all who read this today will experience a transformation in the way they ingest and appropriate Your Word. May they embrace Your truth and experience Your “AMAZING GRACE!” In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!
