This Man Jesus…..Who is He?
He is the only way to the Father. There is no other door that leads to eternal life according to:
John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) That is one of the thousands of Biblically correct, but “churchy” answers to: Who is Jesus, however I would like to tell you who He is to me!
I wrote a song which is on my senior album, “For Such A Time As This,” entitled “Can I Tell You.” “Can I Tell You” sums up who He is to me. The song says: He walked on water, He healed a blind man, He cleansed the lepers, He even raised the dead. Those are all recorded truths about what Jesus did, but I can better explain Him when I tell you who He IS to me because I have experienced Him, not just read about Him!
I could not save myself from myself. I came to the “church” for help and I found one organization after another. All “organizations” had the same “core,” which was Jesus, but their way “to Him” and their directions of how to walk “with Him” were very different.
I finally discovered that Jesus has no prerequisite to approach Him but COME! All who are weary and heavy laden, come! (Matthew 11:28) Just as you are, you crawl up in His lap and lay your burdens at His feet. You must admit your unwillingness to fix yourself and ask His forgiveness of your sin. Ask Him to repair your broken dreams and plans and to come into your life. (1 John 1:9) Jesus will never reject you. He will never ignore you based on the magnitude of your “issue,” your gender, ethnicity, social status, or education. (John 6:37) He is a good God and His thoughts of you are good and never evil! (Jeremiah 29:11)
The Jesus that changed my entire life will mine the treasures that HE placed in you from the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:4) He knows your plans and your dreams, for it is He who formed you. (Genesis 1:27) Everything that you need to move mountains, reach goals, fly higher, and overcome what has been overcoming you is found in “This man Jesus!”
Read His Word daily. Allow His Word to wash you and become your road map into new ventures. What an exciting Man He is. What an amazing God He is. He will be your friend, your compass, your lover, and He will make all things new for “OUT OF” Him, YOU CAME! (Isaiah 43:18)
If you would like to know Him, please come to Him now! Crawl in His lap and ask Him to forgive you of your sin and wash you of your past failures and misgivings. Ask Him to make you whole by His blood and keep you whole through His Word. His Word will teach you how to draw from HIS unlimited supply. Receive Him into your spirit today! ASK & RECEIVE! It’s just that simple.
