Sometimes the daily grind of life causes our hearts to be broken and feel dirty. Satan makes us feel like we are horrible Christians and displeasing to God because we’ve let “the cares of life” get to us. My friend, I’m here to tell you that God is not displeased with you! He understands that we are human! It’s ok to hurt; it’s ok to be human, but it’s not ok to let it move you from Truth! What is truth? Truth is that God sees and knows exactly what you are going through. He hurts when we hurt. He is overwhelmed by the things we are overwhelmed by. Not because God can be “overwhelmed” because HE IS GOD, and nothing can move Him but because He loves you! He is simply waiting for you to cry out to Him. Don’t let your feelings dictate to you! Don’t allow others to disturb your peace. Believe in your God and His ability and DESIRE to work all things for your good more than you believe in satan’s futile, weak attempt to disturb you! Stop and take a minute to ask God to create in you a clean heart. Forgive those who have wronged you and hurt you and take a deep breath! Then feel a right spirit flood your soul! I can’t promise you that your circumstance will immediately change, but I can promise you that the way you see it and respond to it will change! Go ahead, try it! GOD’S WORD WORKS!
