“No Controlling Me”
Hebrews 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
Effective prayer eradicates the NEED to be controlled. We are addicted to people telling us what we are called to do. God will not send your mail to someone else’s house. Your mailbox is in your prayer closet. We have unopened mail because we haven’t been in our prayer closet. Good leadership and effective prayer will teach you how to grow up. It is in His presence where He will teach us about what we should be doing. Effective prayer will grow us up to where we need one thing: to please God.
