Romans 12: 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)
The word “prove” comes from the Greek word:
Dokimazo: an exam, a procedure intended to establish quality and reliability, especially before it is taken into widespread use (Hebrew Text: Westminster Leningrad Codex).
God didn’t tell us to NOT be conformed to the world but to be transformed so that He could test us to determine when we “missed the mark.” No, God’s heart is to establish quality and reliability in us because He knows that His plan for you is “wide spread use!
