“Beware of the Thorns”
Mark 4:18-19- And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the Word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.
As we labor in the vineyard for God, sowing our seed into the ground, sometimes we are disappointed by the harvest; it is not what we wanted to have. Well, what could the problem be? -The problem isn’t the seed or the ground or the sower….the issue is the “thorns” that choke the life from the intended harvest. Don't let the thorns--the cares of this world; the deceitfulness of riches; and the lust of other things- kill your harvest.
