“The Oil & the Vessel” 1 Samuel 16: 3, 10- 3...and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee. 10...And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these. Though the oil is never without the ability to flow, it can be held up by two elements: 1) The vessel in which it is contained or 2) The vessel in which it is to flow. Oil without a sanctified vessel in which to be contained and to be dispensed, is oil without direction or boundaries and is easily wasted. We are vessels of God; in order for God to house his oil in our vessels and in order for his oil to freely flow from our vessels, we must be sanctified.
